ECTC Membership Categories

Directing Members

Open to those manufacturers of Rolled Erosion Control Products (RECPs), Hydraulic Erosion Control Products (HECPs), Sediment Control Technologies (SCTs), and a manufacturer or provider of other erosion control product technologies or product components and accessories, testing labs and distributors may become directing members. Applicants need to petition the current Directing Membership for approval. The membership dues are $7,000 per year.

Associate Directing Members

Manufacturers or providers of other erosion control product technologies (other than RECPs, HECPs, or SCTs, or product components and accessories), testing labs, and distributors may become an Associate Directing Member. Applicants need to petition the current Directing Membership for approval. The membership dues are $5,000 per year.

Supporting Members

Manufacturers, suppliers, or providers of related erosion control technologies, testing laboratories, and product distributors may become a Supporting Member if they do not wish to participate as a Directing Member or Associate Directing Member as outlined above or want to offer support for the organization through membership with limited participation required. They are allowed to attend 1-in-person General Membership meeting per year. The membership dues are $2,500 per year.

General Members

Representative agencies of erosion control products, contracting and engineering firms, and government agencies that do not manufacture any erosion control products may become General Members. The membership dues are $500 per year.

Individual Supporting Members

Any individual person having an interest in the erosion control industry such as contractors, educators, consultants and peripheral industry members. The membership dues are $150 per year.

ECTC promotes the use of rolled erosion control products, hydraulic erosion control products, and sediment retention fibers rolls by placing stories and articles in magazines and websites that specifiers and contractors use to educate themselves on erosion techniques.

ECTC meetings provide you with the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other attendees. ECTC uses e-mail as its primary communication tool between meetings; however, in-person interaction is still a powerful way to increase your business.

Being an ECTC member lets your customers know that you belong to an organization dedicated to educating customers about the advantages of using engineered erosion control solutions to solve their erosion problems.
